Alumna Lynnette Arnold Receives Lancaster Dissertation Award

Ph.D. alumna Lynnette Arnold, currently a Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at University of Massachusets Amherst, has been selected as the recipient of the 2017 Lancaster Dissertation Award in the field of Humanities and Fine Arts, for her dissertation "Communicative Care Across Borders: Language, Materiality, and Affect in Transnational Family Life". She will be presented with the award at the graduate commencement ceremony in June, and will also be UCSB's nominee for the national CGS/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award.
