Marianne Mithun elected to serve as the 95th President of the Linguistic Society of America (LSA)

We are pleased to inform you that Marianne Mithun, Professor of Linguistics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, has been elected to serve as the 95th President of the Linguistic Society of America (LSA). She will begin her term as Vice-President/President-Elect in 2019, serve as President in 2020, and then as Immediate- Past-President in 2021.
