New Major Emphasis/Minor: Speech-Language Sciences and Disorders

The Department of Linguistics is pleased to announce the introduction of two new programs: a Linguistics Major, B.A. – Speech-Language Sciences and Disorders, and a Minor in Speech-Language Sciences and Disorders.

Students in these programs complete a range of courses that cover the structural analysis of language, articulatory and auditory phonetics, and language acquisition. The emphasis and minor are both designed to provide students with prerequisite courses for entrance into a graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
