Alumni Career Panel Discussion at All-Gaucho Reunion

As part of festivities for the 2017 All-Gaucho Reunion, on April 29th, the UCSB Linguistics Department hosted an Alumni Career Panel Discussion. Six graduates of the program -- both from the undergraduate and PhD levels -- came back to campus to talk with current undergraduates about how they put their Linguistics training to use in their diverse careers!

The panelists included:

  • Amy Lashmet (Linguistics B.A. 2014)
    Current Position: Lecturer, UCSB Department of English for Multilingual Students
  • Jack Lin (Language, Culture & Society B.A. 2015)
    Current Position: Sales & Business Consultant for First American Title
