A newly proposed special interest group that seeks to provide a forum for enabling researchers to discuss

A committee of the Linguistic Society of America, COSWL was established in 1974 to
help monitor and improve the status of women in linguistics, especially with
regard to discrimination, harassment, and advancement.
A special interest group of the Japan Association of Language Teachers (JALT) that promotes research, education, advocacy, and networking on gender-related issues
